I am not a crafty person, but when I first became active in the SCA in the 80's and 90's I made my own garb. Simple, but then I was fortunate since Valdis is an early Norse persona. When my husband and I joined the Kingdom of Caid in 2005, we began, albeit slowly, pursuing various interests we shared and wanted to explore further.
